Cleaning Stitches

Chewie had surgery to remove a fatty lump from under his leg. Any idea what the best way to clean the stiches are?

This is the first time he's had stitches that really needed extra attention. Mainly because they are in a bad area with lots of rubbing, which also makes them super sensitive to the touch.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

    Perhaps a call to the vet to ask what they think? I like to use Q tips to clean wounds and apply meds to areas on my small pets--- Pug included. Good Luck!
